nearly everyone that comes into our studio is immediately drawn to our big wire laundry bin full of fabric scraps. we are asked daily if the scraps are for sale (sorry, we use all that stuff).

it took us a little while to figure this out, but we've made a decision and turned out something real cute and useful. say hello to our bag-o-scraps.

inside the cute bag (which on it's own has sooo many uses- bag (duh), pillow case, duvet cover for a doll, hmm what else?) you'll get a pound of fabric and trim scraps. big pieces, small pieces, and tiny pieces.

barrels + branches

we're super stoked to be involved in the barrels + branches holiday gift show. the event started friday (i'm a total loser for not writing about this earlier) but luckily the event doesn't end until sunday. so stop by the gardens, take a stroll, and check out the local goods. i took a peak the other day and there are definitely a few things that will be going home with me. we have got some talented people in this little town of ours.

3/50 Friday

Rather than call it Black Friday, we're joining in and calling the day after Thanksgiving 3/50 Friday, with the hope of spreading the word about shopping locally. For this, our second Holiday season with the m•o•m studio we are starting off with a bang...a bang for your buck that is. Starting on Friday 11-27 all clothing on our rolling rack will be 50% off. Sale lasts 10 days, ending on Dec 6th.

french goodness: Petits°Bonheurs

holy cow. found this blog this morning over at océchou and i'm hooked. incredible photography, adorable kids, gorgeous clothes, ideal setting. need i say more? take a look for yourself.
i am especially in love with the bedroom images. i can only guess that the rooms belong to authors children - it's in french. i used google translates on some posts, but i can't figure it all out. luckily, the photo's are enough to capture you, words aren't always needed.
i am in awe of her son's bedroom.

i haven't seen this documentary (i don't think it played in san diego) but now that it's on DVD we all have a chance to view it. what a great gift this would be.

We had a great time at the Waldorf school Autumn Festival on Saturday. Everyone was so nice, the sun was shinning yet there was a crispness to the air that was refreshing, and there was fresh pressed apple cider! Not a bad way to spend the day.
